A man who formerly taught school in Sturgis, Sask. has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a young girl. Trevor Latham entered the girl’s room at her home in January and touched her inappropriately.
He pleaded guilty to the charge in September and was sentenced to 18 months on probation. Latham was also suspended earlier this year by the school division, and has since been fired.
