TEACHERS having sex while on a camp, drunk at work and downloading porn are among those caught behaving badly in South Australian schools.

Four teachers have had their registration cancelled and two former teachers permanently banned from the profession after being convicted on child porn and indecent assault charges.

In the other cases teachers were either fined, given a “serious reprimand”, had conditions placed on their registration or had it suspended.

The Teachers Registration Board held 13 hearings between July 2011 and September 2012, with 12 teachers or former teachers being found guilty of unprofessional conduct.

Case findings are supposed to be put online once a matter has been finalised, however summaries for this year’s cases were only uploaded following inquiries from the Sunday Mail.
