State Attorney General Linda Kelly announces additional charges against a Berks County high school teacher involving the sexual assault of a juvenile student. The additional charges filed against 31 year old Jonathan Bell, who taught at Governor Mifflin high school, in Wyomissing, include Statutory Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault and Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, one count of Indecent Exposure and one count of Corruption of Minors involving a 15 year old female sophomore.
The latest criminal charges were the result of an ongoing investigation. Bell was initially arrested on August 7, 2012, and charged with having inappropriate sexual contact with a 17 year old female student from December 2010 through May 2011.
