A 42-year-old secondary teacher in Georgia turned herself into police on Tuesday to face accuses of resting of three of her male understudies.
Phoebe Jo Chapman surrendered to sheriffs at the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Valdosta and has following been accused of three tallies of rape.
Police say the charges stem from three different experiences with diverse young men.
The understudies have all since graduated, however specialists say there were all the while going to Lowndes High School when the charged sexual experiences happened.

‘By statute, at whatever time an educator is included in a sexual association with an understudy, its unlawful. They can’t be included,’ Lt. Stryde Jones of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office told WCTV.
‘Those educators are placed in a position of trust, much the same as law requirement.
When you’re placed in that position of trust, you’re held to a higher standard and you’re required to settle on choices that are tantamount with the position that you’re in.
Lt. Jones said it shows up the relations were kept a mystery until the gossipy tidbits began.
‘I don’t think different educators knew,’ he told WCTV.
‘We have discovered nothing so far to show that anyone at the school in a position of administration or a worker comprehended what was going on.
‘There may have been different understudies that recognized what was going on however they had not made anything open other than perhaps to themselves.’
