A 21-year-old female substitute teacher in a northern New Jersey school district has been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student, according law enforcement officials.
The teacher, Linda Hardan, has been charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact.
She is being held on $250,000 bail, according to NorthJersey.com. The report said the victim was a male student at Manchester Regional High School.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said the alleged assault took place in Wayne, N.J. Hardan allegedly drove the student away from the school. No other details were available.
The assault allegedly took place on Thursday, and Hardan was arrested on Friday.
