A former New Jersey teacher has been sentenced to four years in prison for sexually assaulting a female student.
William Miltner taught at Mater Dei Prep in Monmouth County.
Under terms of a plea agreement, the 29-year-old will be subject to lifetime parole supervision, must register under Megan’s Law and forfeit his New Jersey teacher’s license.
Prosecutors say Miltner had an inappropriate sexual relationship with the female student between March and September 2009.
