A 35-year-old Grand Rapids public school teacher charged with having sex with two teenage male students has been released from jail on bond.
WOOD-TV reports Sunday that the teacher posted two $5,000 personal bonds that did not require her to come up with any cash. She is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Wyoming District Court.
School district officials also have placed her on administrative leave from Grand Rapids University Preparatory Academy. A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy told police last week that they had inappropriate contact with the teacher at multiple locations between March 1 and June 1. The district has said it contacted police after several parents came forward with their children to file complaints about the teacher.
