An employee at the Westside School district in Jonesboro is under arrest on sexual assault and child porn charges.
Steven Eagle is the Aerospace Science Instructor for the Air Force Junior ROTC program at the school. He faces two felony charges for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old student.
“We had a mother of a 16-year-old female student at Westside bring her to our office after she had discovered some things on her daughter’s phone that were very suspicious,” said Marty Boyd, Craighead County Sheriff.
A probable cause hearing is set for Monday and Eagle is free after posting a $10,000 bond.
