Thomas Barany, a teacher in the West Bend School Districtcharged with repeated sexual assault of a child was set to be sentenced Tuesday afternoon, July 3rd.
Thomas Barany of Cedarburg is a teacher at Badger Middle School, but officials say the sexual assault accusations do not involve any student in the West Bend School District, and did not occur on school property.
Barany is on unpaid leave, pending the West Bend School District’s own investigation. Once the investigation is complete, the school district will determine what sort of disciplinary action to take.
