A teacher from Sydney’s south has been charged with sexually assaulting two female students.
Just before lunch on Friday, police entered a high school in Oatley and Peakhurst to arrest a 37-year-old man.
He was charged with 29 counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of aggravated act of indecency between 2010 and 2012.
Police say earlier this month two former students of the school reported alleged sexual assaults. The women were aged 15 and 16 at the time.
A team at Sutherland Local Area Command launched an investigation into their claims, and then made the arrest.
The teacher was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
