A substitute teacher in the Clark County School District was charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child under 16 years old.
On Thursday, Las Vegas Metro police announced the arrest of Kelly Hoffman, 48, in connection to allegations of inappropriate conduct involving a man and a juvenile victim.
Police received the allegations on Wednesday and later confirmed Hoffman, a CCSD employee, as the suspect.
Hoffman was arrested on counts including luring a child, two counts of statutory sexual seduction and sex act by adult school employee with a pupil.
Melinda Malone, spokeswoman for CCSD, said Hoffman had been part of the district’s substitute teacher pool since March 2004, but he is no longer in the pool.
