The person, identified as Aman from Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria, attempted to travel on Biman Bangladesh Airlines Flight BG 437. The flight was heading to Cox’s Bazar and was scheduled to leave at 4:30 PM from the domestic terminal.

Group Captain Ragib Samad, the airport’s executive director, said Aman had fake tickets, forged boarding passes, and other false documents. He cleared the first two security checks, but failed to show a valid boarding pass during the final inspection.

“We have several layers of security, and he was caught before boarding. A full investigation will follow,” said Ragib Samad.

Despite the fake documents, Aman entered the terminal and passed the second checkpoint. However, security officials noticed the issue just before he boarded the flight. They stopped him and began questioning him right away.

This event shows the importance of strong security checks, even for domestic flights. Airports must stay alert to protect passengers and prevent misuse of travel systems.
