A former Spring Branch ISD teacher is expected to be released within days after being sentenced Wednesday to two years behind bars for sexual assault of a child and improper relationship with a student.
Because Kathryn Camille Murray has spent two years in Harris County Jail, she was sentenced to time served by state District Judge Frank Price.
Murray, 31, pleaded guilty last year to two counts of sexual assault of a child after admitting to having sex with a 15-year-old boy at Memorial Middle School student beginning Feb. 7, 2012.
